Who it's for

If any of these describe you, you belong here.

You don't need a diagnosis, a discharge date, or a specific branch. If you served — or someone you love did — this program is for you.

  • Veterans of every branch and every era
  • Active-duty servicemembers navigating what's next
  • Servicemembers preparing for discharge or recently transitioned
  • Spouses and partners of veterans and active-duty personnel
  • Children and dependents of servicemembers
  • Family caregivers looking for community and support

The program

A resource hub for veterans and military families.

The Galilee Veterans Support Program helps servicemembers, veterans, and their loved ones in Prince George's County figure out what's next. Through regular meetings and one-on-one outreach, we provide information, guidance, and referrals — so no one has to navigate life after service alone.

01

Twice-Monthly Gatherings

We gather at the District Heights Senior Center — a dependable time to talk with peers, share experiences, and get guidance in a welcoming setting.

02

Needs & Resource Navigation

We work with you one-on-one to identify what you actually need — benefits, healthcare, employment, housing, education, or a steady point of contact — then connect you to the right programs and people.

03

Family-Inclusive Support

Spouses and children are welcome. Service and transition affect the whole household, so our support is built for families, not just individuals.

04

Community-Rooted Support

Service is a family journey, and benefits systems are hard to navigate alone. A steady local gathering means you have people to ask — and relationships that last beyond a single referral.
